  1. Got to about 37 (counting areas on the floor before a large obstacle as a flat surface[1])

  3. Actually, most of them seem to be being used by me...

    (Cheating not to use a photo of your bedroom, though - dozens of surfaces, and I'm not responsible for any of them!)

    It's harder to have a decent vantage point of my room, though. Otherwise I'd have used it :-p

  5. Should one count the "implied" surfaces, such as the couch you are clearly sitting on (since you are facing the television)? I would definitely count that as a surface you are taking advantage of.
